REQUIREMENTS
Android 7 or newer, 64-bit ARM phone, and a configured phone screen lock.
One business on one phone. Currency: USD. Approved pilot invitation required.

INSTALL OR UPDATE
Back up an existing business first. Install over the existing app; never uninstall
or clear its data. Download Simpla-Pilot-0.2.9.apk from your organiser's protected
page. Allow installation from your browser/file app when Android asks; you can
turn that permission off afterward. Menu > About should show 0.2.9.

ACTIVATE
For a new business, complete business setup. Copy the exact Business ID to your
organiser. Enter the private invitation code and verify access while online.
Do not post invitation codes publicly. Existing activated users retain access
when updating; existing unlicensed users need an invitation before new trading.
The pilot runs for 30 days from activation plus 14 days of grace. Refreshing or
restoring does not restart those dates. After expiry, new transactions stop;
reading records, reports, PDF sharing, export and backup remain available.
After reboot, a brief connection is required if trusted satellite time is unavailable.

BEFORE TRADING
Check business details and logo. Add products/services, prices, costs, stock,
customers and opening balances carefully. Do not mix practice and real records.

BACK UP AND RECOVER
Menu > Backup & restore guides you through creating and saving an encrypted copy.
Choose and confirm a recovery password of at least 12 characters. Eye buttons
let you check your typing. Keep the password safely recorded separately.
Optionally remember it on this phone, protected by fresh fingerprint/phone-lock
verification. This does not replace the recovery password on a replacement phone.
Save a copy off the phone after each trading day. Local daily copies do not protect
against phone loss. Automatic online business backup is not included.
Restore: choose the file, unlock it, review its date, then confirm replacement.
Restore recovers only records present at backup time; it does not merge records.
Connect afterward to verify the licence before trading.
On a replacement phone, choose Recover an existing business before new setup.
Have the backup and recovery password ready and contact the organiser for device
replacement approval. Stop trading on the old phone after switching.

HELP
Contact your pilot organiser with the version, phone model and exact error.
Never send passwords, invitation codes or private customer records in feedback.
Paid billing/renewals, multi-device sync and QPD/tax reporting are not included.
